Do important things. Dont let urgent things get in the way. If you dont do the things that are taking care of you you wont be taken care of. Some things should be givens in your life and not depend on whats going on or what you have time for. Dont be content to hope you will have time to do something you need to. If you are anything like me you wont.
Some much of recovery is not in the things you want to do, hope to do or try to do. It is in the things you do on purpose. In many ways recovery is doing good things on purpose to the point they acquire a life of their own and no longer require your purposeful decisions to be real. It is practicing becoming what you want to be until you become it. It is practicing living the way you want to until you live it.
The size of the step is not important. It is not in where you finish but in what you start that life is changed.
Remember like I said at the start of this post. If you dont do the things that take care of you then you wont be taken care of. Do important things.
