How do we decide what life is worth the effort and what is not? And what does it say about the kind of people we are that we would believe such things. The index of any society is how it cares about it’s people.
The story that says “let them die” is fighting for ascendancy in this society. The good ole days before the ACA were not really good. I remember there used to be a whole section of YouTube basically devoted to people begging for their lives from a system that just didn’t care.
