Solve the smallest possible problem

If you feel overwhelmed with life (like I frequently do) I have a suggestion.  Solve the smallest possible first, then the next smallest etc.  I mess up most when I try to grab hold of world changing problems first.  Trying to do overwhelming things when you already feel overwhelmed is not a recipe for success.  Starting small does a couple of things.  It builds a sense of competence and momentum.  It gives you some breathing room.  It gives you a clearer sense of what you can control and what you cant.  And in time may cause some larger problems to begin to “dissolve” as you begin to chip away at their foundations.

Build the momentum of change.  If you dont you tend to die out and the best intentions are left stillborn.
